How Strikeout Sheet Works
Each starter is scored on K%, swinging-strike rate (SwStr%), CSW% (called strikes plus whiffs), and innings-per-start floor — then crossed with the opposing lineup's combined strikeout rate against the pitcher's handedness. A + Matchup tag indicates the pitcher faces a lineup that ranks in the top quartile of K% on the season. Data comes from MLB Stats API and refreshes when lineups lock.
