Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Ultra Rare Inc., operating as BetLogic ("BetLogic," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and discloses personal information when you visit betlogic.ai or subscribe to our email communications. We are based in Ontario, Canada, and this policy is governed by the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Ontario privacy law.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide:
- Email address — when you subscribe to our daily picks digest or newsletter.
Information collected automatically:
- Usage data — pages visited, time on page, referring URL, browser type, and device type via server logs, Google Analytics, and PostHog product analytics.
- Session recordings — we may record screen-level user sessions (mouse movement, clicks, scrolls, page navigation) via PostHog to understand how visitors interact with our tools. Sensitive form fields (password, email, and other inputs) are masked from recordings by default.
- Cookies and local storage — small text files and browser-storage values stored on your device to remember preferences, measure site performance, and identify returning visitors. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some features may not function as expected if you do.
- IP address — logged for security and fraud prevention.
We do not collect payment information. Any purchases are processed through third-party platforms (e.g., Whop, FanDuel) under their own privacy policies.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To send daily picks digests and sports analytics emails you have subscribed to.
- To measure and improve the performance of our website and email content.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or technical issues.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
3. Email Communications (CASL)
Our email list operates under Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). By subscribing, you provide express consent to receive commercial electronic messages from BetLogic. Every email includes a functional unsubscribe link. Clicking it will remove you from our list within 10 business days.
We use Amazon Web Services Simple Email Service (SES) to deliver emails. AWS processes your email address on our behalf as a data processor and does not use it for their own marketing.
4. Third-Party Services
- Google Analytics — we use GA4 to measure site traffic. Google may set cookies. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- PostHog — we use PostHog (US Cloud) for product analytics and to record screen-level user sessions (mouse movement, clicks, scrolls). PostHog may set cookies and store identifiers in your browser's local storage. Sensitive form fields (passwords, emails) are masked from recordings by default. See PostHog's Privacy Policy.
- FanDuel — affiliate links. Clicking these may allow FanDuel to set cookies. FanDuel's privacy policy governs data collected on their platform.
- Whop — subscription and payment processing for products we promote. Whop's privacy policy governs transactions on their platform.
- MLB, NBA, NHL data APIs — publicly available sports data used to power our tools. No personal data is shared with these services.
5. Data Retention
We retain your email address for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, your address is added to our suppression list to prevent future contact. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days.
6. Your Rights
Under PIPEDA, you have the right to request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you; withdraw consent for its use; and lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

7. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. Subscriber data is stored on password-protected servers. No method of internet transmission is 100% secure.
8. Children's Privacy
BetLogic.ai is intended for users 19 years of age or older (the legal sports betting age in Ontario). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 19. Contact us if you believe we have done so and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Effective" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of BetLogic.ai after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
