How Exit Velocity Works
Each hitter is ranked by a weighted blend of average exit velocity, max exit velocity, barrel rate, and hard-hit% over a recent rolling window. Statcast batted-ball events are pulled directly from MLB's public data feed. Hitters squaring up the ball at 95+ mph consistently outperform their batting average over the next one to two weeks — this sheet flags those undervalued bats before the box score catches up.
