How HR Sheet Works
Each candidate is scored on recent ISO and slugging, barrel rate, hard-hit%, and HR-per-fly-ball rate over a rolling window — then adjusted for ballpark HR factor, the pitcher's home-run rate against the hitter's handedness, and any career sample versus the opposing starter. Hitters with a + Matchup tag have a top-quartile career profile against today's pitcher. Sourced from MLB Stats API and Statcast.
